Marviel Underwood (born on 17th February 1982) is an ex- American player and football safety. He was selected to the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played in the NCAA football tournament in the state of San Diego State.
In addition to his fellow rookie Nick Collins, Underwood appeared in all 16 games of the regular season in the season of 2005. The unfortunate incident struck Underwood when he injured two ligaments in his right knee during an early-season game against his team, the San Diego Chargers. The player was out of during the 2006 NFL season after being put as an injured reserve. On the 20th of August in 2007, the Packers let go Underwood.
Underwood was drafted by the California Redwoods of the United Football League in the UFL Premiere Season Draft in 2009. He signed with the team on September 2. He was placed on injured reserve on November 5.
On the 5th of December 2007 Underwood was signed by The Denver Broncos. He was released by the team on May 28, 2008.
